![]() It’s our intention to release both System Shock remake and SS2:EE around the same time. Players focusing on Standard Weapons can choose between the Navy Sailor and the Marine. We’d also like to announce that anyone who pre-orders System Shock remake will receive System Shock 2: Enhanced Edition for free and ALL Kickstarter/Backerkit backers who backed at the 30 level or higher will also be receiving SS2:EE for free.Training Maintenance skill gives the player one Disposable Maintenance Tool.Naval Officers can learn +2 Cybernetic Affinity (more than any other class) which is very compatible with Hacking.Hacking-oriented players should prioritize the Navy Sailor, as it's the only class providing this skill immediately.Paths 2.2 (+1 Maintenance on Year 2) and 3.1 (+1 Research on Year 3) are worth the least Cyber Modules. ![]() Literally, the voice when you step into each of the advanced training rooms says so. Because the advanced training essentially tells you which specialization the Navy, the Marines, and the OSA focus on. Paths 2.3 (+2 Standard Weapons on Year 2) and 3.2/3.3 (+2 Endurance/Agility on Year 3) are worth the most Cyber Modules. System Shock 2 is like Dark Souls in that, to me, its not actually difficult. On average, Sailor's trainings are worth a similar amount of Cybernetic Modules as Marine's trainings, however with a much wider spread (the biggest of all classes). It is aimed at the players who focus slightly more on non-combat approach, as it offers a choice of all Technical Skills (up to 3 out of 5 can be selected). The Navy Sailor is a good class for beginners. You have one of three options to choose from:ġ3 th February 2112 − 11 th February 2113 After that, a shuttle takes you to the Chesapeake Bay Space Station orbiting the Earth to begin your three-year training. Upon selecting this class, you are first sent to Coronado Island for a half year long preliminary training, during which you gain +1 Standard Weapons. Naval trainees usually learn a mix of Technical Skills and train up several Statistics. The game starts off with you doing some training for the three main 'armies', the OSA (people who use their psychic powers), Navy (equipment repairing, hackers) and the Marines (combat specialists). The modern navy must, therefore, conquer the machines. At first glance, this looks like your average Quake/Doom FPS, but it's actually a very nice RPG packed into the body of an FPS. The machines have conquered the elements. Gone are the days of struggling with sails, oars, or coal and diesel engines.
